Building your Complexity Landscape:
In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, traditional approaches to leadership often fall short when facing complexity. How might you unlock new perspectives and solutions that conventional methods may miss?
We have launched a new offering blending Adaptive Leadership principles (from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government) with the innovative LEGO® Serious Play® methodology (originating from IMD, Switzerland).
We create a space where current and future states and systems can be built using LEGO® Serious Play®, bringing collective knowledge together. They are then explored and adjusted in an agile manner using an Adaptive Leadership lens, before designing experiments and next steps to bring this emerging future to life.
This is both a team endeavour and an individual leadership development opportunity as adaptive leadership principles such as ‘seeing the system’, ‘heat’ and more are explored and practiced in the room.

What is LEGO® Serious Play®?
LEGO® Serious Play®, a method for strategic planning and problem-solving, was developed in the mid-1990s by professors Johan Roos and Bart Victor at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, in collaboration with the LEGO Group.
Katie da Gama and I had the pleasure of attending LEGO® Serious Play® training with IntHRface in 2024 in the home of LEGO® in Billund in Denmark. We are still being amazed by the opportunities it brings to see challenges and opportunities in a different way.
